The Orioles announced several promotions within their baseball operations department on Tuesday, most notably naming Brady Anderson the club’s vice president of baseball operations.
Anderson, who oversees the organization’s strength and conditioning program, was previously a special assistant to executive vice president of baseball operations Dan Duquette.
Ned Rice, formerly the assistant director of Major League operations, is now director of Major League administration, with Mike Snyder, previously assistant director of scouting and player development, named assistant director of player of personnel.
Bill Wilkes is now manager of baseball operations and was formerly the coordinator of baseball operations.
“These promotions reflect the significant contributions and commitments Brady, Ned, Mike and Bill have already made to the Orioles’ organization,” Duquette said in a news release. “They are valuable members of the baseball operations department, and I feel confident they will continue to excel in their new and expanded roles.”
